Hugo Alberto Pedroza Pérez

Executive Resume

A distinguished Materials Engineer graduate from the esteemed Simón Bolívar University, Hugo Alberto Pedroza Pérez is a Project Manager with a decade of international experience focused on production optimization, strategic personnel management, and the supervision of high-value assets. His career is a testament to consistent progression and impactful leadership within the oilfield services and engineering testing sectors. His career was forged at Schlumberger, where he began as a Field Engineer and technical specialist in downhole and surface data acquisition. This first-hand technical experience provided a solid foundation that propelled him toward roles of greater responsibility. He eventually transitioned to a regional coordination position spanning Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, where he managed production assets valued at approximately USD $20 million. Hugo's impact on operations was monumental. He spearheaded the first global deployment of the Diligent Mobile Surface Well Testing packages. The implementation of this revolutionary technology successfully reduced well mobilization and cleanup times by over 70%, an advancement that directly resulted in an astonishing 600% increase in operational revenue for the company in the region. His excellence in applying technology for process improvement was recognized with the prestigious "Concrete Revolutionaries – Giatec Excellence in Partnership 2025 Award," an honor that highlights his pioneering role in integrating digital monitoring systems into concrete quality control. Currently, Hugo applies his engineering and management vision at Skyrise Engineering & Testing, based in Miami. As a Project Manager, he is a key leader in the company's digital transformation. His role is centered on operational structuring, laboratory supervision, and, crucially, the development and implementation of internal project management and invoicing software, such as the proprietary ELMTREE system. Under his leadership, Skyrise is successfully integrating state-of-the-art sensors to optimize and secure its engineering testing processes, solidifying its position as an industry benchmark.
